Accountability
The Accountability Challenge
The Challenge:
Ask several executives and employees about the chief reason companies experience problems with leadership, culture, and empowerment, and many will agree it’s because a lack of accountability prevails through the organization. While leaders feel their employees don’t hold themselves accountable, employees tend to feel there is a lack of responsibility at the executive level. At the end of the day, you can choose to be accountable or not. If you are accountable, you’re focused on the desired results and outcomes, regardless of the circumstance. If you are not, you get distracted, focused instead on unbecoming habits like playing the victim card, blamestorming, and making excuses.
Workshop Description:
This interactive, experiential session is designed to help leaders and teams re-define accountability and understand how it impacts culture, communications, and performance. In a 90-minute, interactive overview session, participants will learn a common language set and approach to seeing challenges more clearly and establishing a pathway toward resolution, completion, and accountability. Leveraging valuable models by Roger Connors, Tom Smith and Craig Hickman, authors of The Oz Principle, the facilitators also bring a lifetime of experience leading, evolving, and growing organizations, with powerful lessons learned along the way.
Outcomes:
Following this engaging and experiential workshop, participants will be able to:
