Join us for a “Howl-ween” celebration like no other at our Yappy Hour Bash—where Halloween fun goes to the dogs!

Co-hosted by Stand Up for Animals, this paws-itively delightful evening will feature specialty cocktails for dog owners and gourmet treats for their four-legged best friends. We encourage you to dress up your pets in their spookiest costumes, as they’ll be the stars of the night!

Plus, Woof! Woof! Pet Boutique and Biscuit Bar will be in attendance, showcasing an exclusive selection of their luxurious treats and designer toys—perfect for pampering your furry companion!

It’s a howl-worthy night of Halloween fun, where pets and their humans can celebrate the season in style! Reservations are required. 

About Stand Up For Animals Stand Up For Animals is a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. After Westerly residences identified a need in the community for a more robust animal shelter, they donated to the Town of Westerly a state-of-the-art animal shelter that could house dogs, cats, exotic animals as well as provide on-site veterinary care. Continuing their initial mission to promote the welfare of animals in the community, they also launched a TNR program for the feral cats in our community and provided grants to members of our region who needed financial support for veterinary costs or feeding of their companion animals. Most recently, following the closing of a local veterinary clinic, the organization identified a need for affordable veterinary care in the community especially for neuter/spay surgeries.

With the support of The Westerly Town Manager and Chief of Police who oversees the shelter, Stand Up for Animals launched a full-time animal wellness clinic that is open to the public 4 days per week with 2 days dedicated to neuter/spay surgeries.  The 5th day is dedicated to shelter animals and the neuter/spay of community feral cats.  They subsidize the costs of the clinic through donations, grants and fundraising and the cost of treatment at the clinic is about 1/2 the cost of a for-profit clinic.
