JIM CARPENTER (aka James Waine Carpenter) is a Connecticut-based writer and chief songwriter for The CARLEANS, The HOOLIOS, and SOUTHERN FICTION.  As a soloist, he has shared a stage with: Robert Earl Keen, Greg Brown, The Resentments, Bill Morrissey, Melanie, Chris Knight, Tom Russell, and many more. He will be performing at the Knickerbocker Tap Room w/ SANDY ALLEN on March 16 at 8 pm.  This is a special show with the release of Jim's fourth collection of short fiction entitled Forsaken, Florida.
