Paddle for Sight

Description

Join Hope in Focus for an evening paddleboard or kayak trip on the Mystic River to raise funds to treat rare blinding diseases.

On Thursday September 14 join our paddle fundraiser sponsored by Adventure Mystic. Your fee includes a paddleboard or kayak, paddle, and life jacket. (Rain date, Saturday September 16, 10AM- 12PM.)

Details:

Registration fee includes paddleboard or kayak, paddle, and lifejacket rental.

Participants must have prior paddleboard or kayak experience and are required to sign the Mystic Adventure Outdoors Sports waiver.

Rain date is Saturday September 16, 2023 10AM-12PM.

Parking: limited parking is first-come, first-served in the lot behind Adventure Mystic. As our event is Thursday in September, if that lot is full, finding a spot on the street in Mystic shouldn't be too tricky!

Paddle time is 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, however, paddlers may arrive as early as 4:30 pm at Adventure Mystic to meet us and get set up. After 6:10 pm new paddlers will not be accepted.

YETIs: If you purchase the paddle ticket with a Hope in Focus YETI wine tumbler or YETI mug, you will have a choice of 1 wine tumbler or 1 mug, based on availability. You will also have our sincere gratitude for your additional contribution to our cause!
