Description
Each 4th of July, the SVIA holds an Ice Cream Social in Mathews Park in Stonington Borough following the 4th of July Parade, which is sponsored by the Stonington Historical Society. Dog Watch Cafe generously provides delicious ice cream to celebrate this special day.
The Ice Cream Social is held after the parade that winds through the Borough and the reading of the Declaration of Independence in Wadawanuck Square. Have a cone, relax in the park, play a game of bocce!
