Description

Join Director of the Slater Museum Dayne Rugh to learn about the history and new direction of the only museum located on the campus of a high school in Connecticut. Exclusive behind-the-scenes photos, and history of the development of its collection will be shared in addition to a look at the completion of the museum's 2022 roof restoration and gallery reinstallation projects.

Open to the public; suggested donation $5.

Located on the campus of Norwich Free Academy, the Slater Museum awakens visitors to the richness and diversity of the human experience through art and history. For more than one hundred years, the Museum has displayed and interpreted the best examples of fine and decorative art, representing a broad range of world cultures of the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa.
