Job Title: Line Cook / Prep Cook / Dishwasher

Job Type: [Part-Time, Possible Long Term Full-Time]

Reports To: Owner & Operator

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a Line Cook / Prep Cook / Dishwasher. This hybrid role is essential to the smooth operation of our kitchen, combining food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities:

Line Cook Duties:

Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently during service.

  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the kitchen.
  • Ensure food is prepared to high safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.

Prep Cook Duties:

Assist with chopping, measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients.

  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Prepare basic components of each dish on the menu.
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they are organized and easily accessible.

Dishwashing Duties:

Operate dishwashing machine and clean pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and trash areas.
  • Ensure dishes, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized properly and returned to their proper places.

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

  • Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Must have availability for Mornings and/or weekend shifts.

  • Flexible hours; overtime may be required during peak periods.
